Aziza Illustrates is an emerging multi diciplinary visualartists based in Park Royal, West London. Founded by self-taught artist Vanessa Bell in 2018, the practice focuses on themes from the afro diaspora and is influenced by her rich and vibrant Afro Caribbean culture.

Following her study of textiles and graphic design, Vanessa graduated Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Interior Design and Interior Architecture. She proceeded to work in the industry for five years before changing her career and fully focusing on her illustration practice in 2022

As Aziza Illustrates grows and evolves, so does Vanessa’s artistic style. The brand creates and produces a range of lifestyle products featuring her artwork. Whilst mainly focusing on digital illustration, she also paints on canvas. In her fine art prices, Vanessa focuses on the use of metallic leaf and acrylics and she has also used collage as a medium to add vibrancy and texture to her artwork.

Windrush Legacy will be the first exhibiton and event curated/organised by Vanessa
